La célébration de
Lynda Burchill
11 mai 1947 –
29 décembre 2020
We are saddened to announce the passing of Lynda Jean Burchill (nee Willis) on Tuesday December 29th, 2020, after a long struggle with Fahr’s and CLL diseases at the age of 73. Lynda was born May 11, 1947 in Hamilton, Ontario to the late Albert Willis and Jean Bright. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Daryl Burchill and three sons David (Barbara), Brian (Shirley), Stephen (Catherine) and two grandsons Joshua and Ethan.
Lynda is also survived by her two brothers Doug (Yvonne) and Gary (Judy) and many nieces and nephews.
She will be sadly missed by many friends and family, especially close friends Dave and Patricia Forsyth who were companions on many day trips around Ontario.
When the boys were younger Lynda enjoyed watching them play sports and participating on the many sporting committees.
She herself enjoyed gardening, bowling and hosting euchre nights at her home.
Lynda’s infectious smile and laugh will remain in all of our hearts forever. A celebration of life to follow at a later date.
Special thanks to the Cedar Grove Unit staff at St. Joseph’s Villa for the care given to Lynda over the past year.
Donations can be made to St. Joseph’s Villa sjvfoundation.ca/ or to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada www.llscanada.org on behalf of Lynda.
