It is with deep sadness that the family of the Late Lucy White announce her passing on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center, Stephenville Crossing, NL at the age of 90 years. She was pre-deceased by her parents Timothy & Judith Lasaga; husband Martin K. White; son Andrew; daughter Iris; brothers: Hubert Lasaga, Pius Lasaga, Mike Lasaga, Phonse Lasaga; sister-in-law Margaret Lasaga; sister Joan White; brother-in-law Patrick White and daughter-in-law Shirley White. She is survived by her sons: Phonse White, Larry White, Paul White (Wendy), Stephen White; daughters Judy Fleming (Nicholas), Dawn Murphy (Walter), Edna George (Larry); grandchildren: Andrew Murphy, Liela Murphy (Chris), Edna Fleming (Jon), Martin Fleming, Johanna Stockall (Mike); great-grandchildren: Anderson, Sam, Emma, Allie, Mia; sister Yvonne Cutler in ON; sisters-in-law: Mary Lasaga in NS and Jean Lasaga in NB. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center for caring for our mother for the past five and a half years. Visitation will take place at St. Joseph’s Parish, St. George’s, NL on Friday, February 21, 2020 between the hours of 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 10 a.m. with Father Edmund Dantes officiating. Inurnment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Shallop Cove, NL will take place following the service. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to a Charity of Ones’ Choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
