Lucy “Ferne” Curry
1927-2020
Curry – The death
occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at home, on
Sunday, May 17, 2020, of Lucy “Ferne” (Brown) Curry, of
Summerside, and formerly of Ottawa, ON, aged 92 years. Born in
Alberton, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Lucy (Leard)
Brown. Survived by her daughters Marilyn Curry, Arizona, US; and
Deborah Curry, Summerside; son-in-law Tom McKinley, Arizona, US;
grandchildren Michelle (Shaun), Regina (Randy), Jennifer, David
(Stacy), Alesia (Rob) and Grant (Ricki); great-grandchildren Mia,
Caleigh, Jayden, Danae, Lucas and Tyler; brother-in-law Stuart (Jane)
Curry, Summerside; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Donald Grant Curry; daughter Gwen McKinley;
sisters Ruby (Mont) Hutt, Muriel (Jim) Davidson, Rita (Keir) Matthews
and Ruth (Herb) Delgarno; and by a brother Harold (Peggy) Brown.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. No visiting hours or
funeral service by personal request. Interment to take place later in
Memorial Gardens, Nepean, ON. Memorial donations to Home Care
Palliative Fund, East Prince would be appreciated.
