In loving memory of
Mr. Lucien Shink
September 24, 1928 – October 30, 2020
With great sorrow his family announces his sudden passing on Friday October 30th, 2020 at the age of 92 at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls. He was the husband of the late Yvette Shink (nee Hardy), father of the late John Knowles, Nicole (Denis) Bertrand and Kelly (Andrew) Keen, grandfather of Christopher (Giovanna), John (Paula), Holly (Sean), Samantha and Seth, great grandfather of Jason, Zachary, McKenna, Matthew and Emma, brother of Jeannette Goulet. Lucien also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also predeceased by his parents Pierre & Marie Shink and all of his other siblings.
Visitations will be held at Irvine & Irvine Funeral home, 641 deTroyes Avenue on Sunday November 1st, 2020 from 2 to 4 pm & 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday November 2nd, 2020 at 11 am at Sts-Martyrs Catholic Church in Iroquois Falls and the interment will be at the Abitibi Cemetery. ***Covid-19 restrictions in place. ***
If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheques only to the South Centennial Manor Redevelopment Project and would be greatly appreciated. (Cheques must be made to the AGH Foundation prior coming to funeral home and cash will not be accepted)

The maximum of people allowed at the same time in Irvine & Irvine funeral home is 30% of its full capacity at one time, rotation may take place;
The maximum of people allowed in St-Martyrs Church is 30% of its full capacity;
The wearing of a mask by everyone in the funeral home and church during visitations and funeral is mandatory;
No memorial donations nor Mass will be accepted in person at the funeral home;
No food nor beverage services will be provided;
Washrooms will not be accessible;
Everyone must follow proper health and safety advice, including physical distancing of two metres from people who are not from the same household or their established 10-person social circle;
