Louise Lemieux 1932 2020

Obituary of Louise Lemieux
Louise Rose Marie Lemieux-Clairmont, was born in St-Fabien, QC 1932 and passed away peacefully on February 4, 2020.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Louise was also an accomplished artist, registered nurse, and volunteered on boards to help the communities in which she lived. Louise took great joy maintaining her summer cottages in Ste-Luce with lavish gardens, and lots of visits from family and friends. Louise enjoyed a good laugh and kept her amazing quick wit when responding to friendly teasing.
Louise was predeceased by her husband Gérard (Jerry) Edgar Clairmont of Fall River, Massachusetts and will be greatly missed by her four children, Anna (Dan Hadden), Marc (Sophie Dumont), Michael (Louise Borduas) and James; her five grandchildren, Ann-Katrine, Cynthia, Naomi, Steven and Rosalie; and her three great grandchildren, Anika, Emir, and Matéo.
Louise enjoyed a close relationship with her family, their spouses and her extended family in the United States. Louise is predeceased by two sisters Bibianne and Amélie (Philippe Roy); and two brothers Antonin (Odette Caillouette) and Yvon (Jacqueline Brown). Louise is survived by her sister Dorothée (Bernard Goulet), and brothers Lionel (Andrée Tremblay), Jean (Yvette Laforest) and Robert (Géraldine Hogan). Louise will be missed by the surviving family and friends.
The family is planning a Celebration of Life this summer at her beloved cottage.
