Lou’s Celebration of Life

Daniel (Annette), Vincent (Nadia) et Ginette (Mark Brazeau) ont la tristesse de vous faire part du décès de leur chère sœur Lou Gagné (Lucette) à l’âge de 61 ans.
Elle est décédée le jeudi 2 juillet à 14h35 entourée de sa famille. Ses parents, Ronald et Viata (Shank) l’ont précédée dans la tombe en 2017.
Lou était agente de programmation pour le centre culturel Les Compagnons de North Bay pendant plusieurs années et était très fière de son travail dans la communauté francophone ainsi que dans la ville. Ses projets de bienveillances et communautaires sont innombrables, comme vous le verrez sûrement sur les médias sociaux.
Loulou laisse dans le deuil plusieurs neveux, nièces, arrière nièce et arrières neveux, oncles et tantes, filleuls, cousins, cousines et amis proches.
La famille accueillera la communauté le vendredi 10 juillet de 13h30 à 16h au 30 Robinhood Court à North Bay pour une célébration extérieure.
Tous les protocoles de santé seront en mesure : le port du masque, la distanciation sociale et le nombre maximal de visiteurs. Si vous avez votre propre masque, prière de le porter.
Si vous désirez faire un don charitable en son nom, Lou appuyait La société du diabète ainsi que La fondation de la maladie du cœur et de l’AVC.
La famille remercie par avance toutes personnes qui prendront part à sa peine pour leur accompagnement et leur gentillesse. Nous serons éternellement fiers de toi Lou, tu nous manqueras toujours.
Daniel (Annette), Vince (Nadia) and Ginette (Mark Brazeau), with broken hearts, share the passing of their dear sister Lou Gagné (Lucette) at the age of 61. She died at the North Bay Regional Health Center on Thursday July 2nd at 2:35 pm surrounded by the three of us.
Lou was the Programming Agent for “le centre culturel Les Compagnons” de North Bay for the past many years. She was proud of her work for the francophone community within the City of North Bay and surrounding area. She always sought inclusion for all, young and old. She always worked behind the scenes organizing far too many events for us to mention here. The social media tributes show the depths of her work.
Lou was the daughter of Ronald and Viata Gagné (Shank) both predeceased in 2017. Lou Lou will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.
The family will be holding a Celebration of Life at 30 Robinhood Court North Bay on Friday July 10th from 1:30 to 4:00 pm. The Celebration will be held outside and we will be following Social Distancing, gathering numbers and mask wearing protocols for the Province of Ontario. While we will attempt to provide some masks, we are asking people to please bring their own.
If you wish to make a donation in Lou’s name she was always supportive of the local Diabetes Association and the Heart and Stroke Society. Lou’s passing has been a shock to not only her family but the entire community. The family thanks everyone for their support and wonderful tributes. We are always proud and will miss her forever.
