Obituary for
Lori Lee Chaykowski
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lori Lee Chaykowski (nee Yelland) on Sunday, July 26, 2020, at the age of fifty-three. Lori was born on September 11, 1966, in Porcupine Plain, SK, to Alfred (Llyn) and Elizabeth (Betty) Yelland of Porcupine Plain, SK. Lori married Brian Chaykowski on August 2, 1986 and together raised their two children.
Other than her beloved family, Lori enjoyed quadding, having coffee with friends and family, barbecues, and showing off pictures of her new granddaughter. Lori couldn’t wait to plant her garden in the spring so she could enjoy new potatoes and cucumber salad. In the summer, Lori enjoyed being Brian’s co-captain on their fishing and RV-ing adventures. In the fall you could find her helping out with the hunt and blowing beaver dams. Lori enjoyed nothing more than having her house filled with her people and entertaining. Her favorite time of year was Christmas and she always had an abundance of food, presents, and love.
She was predeceased by her parents Llyn and Betty Yelland, her father-in-law, Steve Chaykowski, and her nephews, Darren Erkinger and Dallas Chaykowski. Lori will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 34 years, Brian Chaykowski, her two children, Devon (Delaney) and Ashton (Travis), and her granddaughter, Emily. She is also survived by her two sisters, Deb (Peter) and Dianne, her brother Brian (Wendy), and her mother-in-law, Sally Chaykowski, as well as her extended family and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Lori Lee
