Wood, Loretta Ann, Raynardton, passed away peacefully, October 22, 2020. Born, December 15, 1939, she was a daughter to the late Bruce and Mary (Gordon) Eldridge. Loretta was an accomplished photographer and quilter, she also created many professional pieces in needlework, knitting, and rughooking. She loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren at the beach, visiting museums, and just hanging out. She graciously took great pride in everything she did. She is survived by her loving husband, Nelson; daughters, Lori (Stephen) Cross, Alberta; Jennifer (Rob) Stevens, Alberta; Stephanie (Jimmy) Bungay, Cape Breton; son, Stephen (Denise) Wood, Yarmouth; sister, Donna Lee (Scott) Cain, Lake Annis; grandchildren, Melissa; Michelle; Ashley; Cameron; Jordan; Colin; Joshua; Elijah; Tori; Felicity; great grandchildren, Taylor and Chloe. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation will be held, Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 5-8pm followed by a funeral service, Friday, October 30, 2020 at 2pm, both in the Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel, Yarmouth. Eric Whitehouse officiating. Interment in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Gavelton. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Operation Smile.
