Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 10, 2020. Lorenzo Casanova of Williamstown, formerly of Verdun; age 65 years. Beloved husband of Sylvie Linhares. Survived by his daughter Deanna Casanova. Cherished son of the late Leonardo and Anna Casanova (nee Marchesani). Dear brother of Joseph Casanova (Nicole), uncle of Hugo Casanova (Ingrid), brother-in-law of Billy Linhares, and son-in-law of Elvira Linhares. He will be missed by his best friend Bernie Daoust, and by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A private Service will be held in the Chapel of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak St. Lancaster (613-347-3629). A Celebration of Life will be held once the Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted. Date and time to be announced. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Lorenzo a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
