Loran O’Neill Monday March 16th 2020

Passed away peacefully on March 16, 2020 at the age of 91. Predeceased by his beloved wife Elizabeth (Betty), Loran leaves his loving children Corinne (Mike) Schutte, Deborah O’Neill, Lori (Dave) Cooper, Paul (Debbie) O’Neill, Kevin (Andrea) O’Neill and predeceased by his son Gary (Denise) O’Neill. Sadly missed by his many grandchildren: Michael, Kyle, Mark, Melissa, Elizabeth, Nathan, Nicole, Kristofer, Owen, Justin, Linzi, Erin, James, Jake and Brooke and great-grandchildren: Shane, Layla, Jackson, Jameson, Hudson and Rowyn. Missed also by dear sister Teresa Heffern and Uncle Gordon Troy. Born in Northumberland, New Brunswick he eventually made his way to Ontario and earned his Hoisting Engineer qualifications in 1953. Proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers-Local 793 since 1957, Loran was one of the many hard working people who built Ontario and was a Local 793 Business Agent at the time of his retirement. Donations in Loran’s name may be made to the “Gary O’Neill Memorial Golf Tournament”. Cheques to: IUOE-Local 793, 2245 Speers Rd, Oakville, ON L6L 6X8. Proceeds go to University Health Network Cancer research. Include name and address for receipt.

Papa will rest beside Nana at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Woodbridge, ON.
