Obituary of Lois Elizabeth Haining
Haining, Lois Elizabeth (nee Teske)
With deep sadness, Gail Wells (Garry), Glenda Bryan (Harold), Sandy Haining (Dawn) and Bill “Homer” Haining (Alice) announce the peaceful passing of their beloved mother, Lois (Teske) Haining on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the age of 96. Predeceased by her husband Grant in 2005, and by her sister, Betty Lacombe and brothers, Nelson and Milton. Lois was the daughter of the late Olivia and Ernest Teske and step-daughter of the late Albert Mielke. Cherished and respected “Gran” of Mike Wells (Sarah), Chris Wells (Sherri), B.J. Wells (Sherry), Kim Jelly (Steve), Brian Haining (Kellie), Ryan Haining (Alana) and Erika Clayton (Rob). Very proud and loving “Great-Gran” of Eric, Aaron, Madison, Parker, McKenna, Hudson, Jacob, Isaac, Cooper, Carter, Ashley, Dillon and Nate. Also survived by eight great-great grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Sylvia Teske, Beverley Teske and Bette Haining and fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews in the Ottawa and Buckingham areas. In keeping with Lois’ wishes the family will gather privately to celebrate her life and loving heart. Interment will take place at the Wolford Rural Cemetery at a later date. Donations in Lois’ memory may be made to the Wolford Rural Cemetery or to a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls. “We will cherish her memory forever”.
