Lois Eileen Parks Service Tuesday December 22nd 2020

Parks; Lois Eileen
Peacefully at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of Murray of Ravenna. Loving mother of Shelley (Mark Urquhart) of Meaford, David (Dawn) of Feversham and long-time special friend Darren Storey. Wonderful grandmother to Madaline and Leanna. Lois will be remembered by sisters Joan(Ken) Monaghan, Gwen(Jim) Plummer, sisters-in-law Gail Service, Linda, Service, Wanda Parks and brother-in-law Lyle Parks. She is greatly missed by her dear cat Toby. Predeceased by parents Bill and Eileen Service and brothers Don and Dean Service.
Lois (affectionately known to many as Momma Lois) enjoyed baking for others. There were always muffins, cinnamon buns and her other creations sent to family and friends. Lois loved to provide for people who came into her home. No matter the time of day, if company arrived snacks and food were always put on the table. She loved Bluegrass music and the musical events that allowed she and Murray to spend weekends in the company of wonderful friends. She was also an avid NASCAR fan. Lois enjoyed many afternoons out on the front deck with her cat Toby on her lap visiting with special neighbours and friends.
Cremation has taken place. Due to COVID-19 restrictions currently in place, a Celebration of Life will take place at the farm in the spring. Memorial donations to the Feversham Kinsmen or Campbell House Hospice would be greatly appreciated. Online condolences and tributes available at www.fawcettfuneralhome.ca
