On October 28, 2020, Lois “Doreen” Morgan of Edmonton, AB passed away at the age of 92 years.
Doreen is survived by her loving daughter, Brenda (Ed) Matthews; her grandchildren; brother, Brian Hay (Brenda) of Sidney, B.C.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Ivan and Annie May Hay; husband, Gwilym Stanley; son, Glenn and sisters, Margaret Flett and Shirley Payne.
Mom was a dedicated volunteer at the Edmonton Senior Centre for 19 years and also volunteered at SAGE. Mom was a great cook, she loved to travel, crochet, read and play cards.
Thank you to the staff and Doctors of Devonshire Care Centre for their exceptional care and compassion for Mom over the past year.
In respect to Mom’s wishes, there will be no Funeral Service.
If friends so desire donations may be made to the Stollery Children’s Hospital or to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
