It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Lois Seaith (née Barber) on Friday June 12, 2020 in her 77th year. Beloved mother of Randy (Kim) and Ann (Jim), Grandma to Brittany (Aaron), Brendan (Rachel), Jason, Brett (Krissy), Bradley (Becky), JR (Jessica) & Tyler. Great Grandma to Cooper, Camdynn, Savannah, Kayla, Lukas, Jackson, Emily and Rachel. Cherished sister of: the late Marion and William Lawson, the late Leo Barber, Ken Barber (Karren), the late Joan and Wayne McCaffrey, the late Wes Barber (Marlene), the late Lettie Snider (Ron), Bernice Crone (Carl), Madeline Barber, the late Helen Oord (Ben), Janet Zucchet (the late Frank), and Ron Barber (Nancy). Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Lois will be fondly remembered for her amazing sense of humour and quick wit. You never knew what she was going to say but it always brought a smile and a laugh. A special thank you to the nurses and doctors at the Hamilton General Hospital and St. Peter’s Hospital for their care and compassion. A private family service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
