LOH Diana Pui Ying July 30 1932 August 27 2020

LOH, Diana Pui Ying (July 30, 1932 – August 27, 2020)
Diana passed away at home in Vancouver on August 27, 2020. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Bernadette (Tim Mah), Geraldine (Lu Pat Ng), Jacqueline; grandchildren, Zoe and Renyi Ng, Stephen Mah; and large extended family and many friends in Canada, the UK and Singapore. She had a wonderful life, living at various times in Singapore, Malaysia, the US, the UK and Canada, which has been her home since 1974. She graduated from medical school in Singapore in 1956, eventually becoming a child psychiatrist. She was passionate about working with children and reluctantly retired only last year. In her quiet way she realised so many of her dreams, including living for over thirty years in the house that she and Philip cherished, where she hosted so many memorable gatherings of family and friends. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 18, 2020, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church. The family will hold a celebration of life next year when larger gatherings are permitted. In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to Covenant House and Canuck Place Children’s Hospice in Vancouver.
