It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lloyd Hilary Sheppard on Sunday, August 23rd, 2020 at Western Memorial Hospital at the age of 81 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his partner, Linda Crocker, children: Dean Sheppard (Sherri Boland), Martin Sheppard (Kelly House), Lloyd, Cora Curtis (Ralph), Della Sheppard (Todd Park), Willis Payne (Lorna), Maggie Lawson (Jerry) and Derek Crocker (Freda); Brother Rex Sheppard and sister Maxine Burton; grandchildren: Tyler, Alissa, Ralph Jr., Christopher, Michael, Marty, June, AJ, Douglas, Ryan, Sarah, Penny, Pam, Paula, Debbie, Ericka and Tanya; special Aunt Molly Young; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife Minnie, 2007, daughters Lorraine and Patsy Sheppard, grandson Faron Young, sisters Cedella, Lizzy and Cora; Brothers Heber, Wilfred, Alton and Everette, and parents Martin and Margaret Sheppard. A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, August 29th at 2:00 p.m. at the Epiphany Anglican Church in Woody Point, officiated by Rev. Francis Elger, and a second service will be held on Sunday, August 30th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Ambrose Anglican Church, John’s Beach with Rev. Effie Organ officiating with Interment to follow at St. Ambrose Cemetery, John’s Beach. Messages of condolence may be left on our website, www.fillatre.ca.
