February 22, 1946 – December 16, 2020
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Sharon de la Mare, his brother Elmer (Laura) of Red Deer, his sister Sheila (Chris) of Comox, BC, his sister Audrey (Michael) of Calgary, his brother Ron (Heather) of Edmonton, his brother Dale (Corrine) of Ladner, BC, his sister Joanne (Brad) of Calgary, his brother-in-law Brian (Dianne) of Lumby, BC, his sister-in-law Judy (Dale) of Edmonton, Sharon’s three children, Brad of Edmonton, Kim (Bernie) of St. Albert, AB, Cathy of Edmonton, grandson’s Madison, Jordan (Jessi) of Edmonton, Dylon and Tyson of Surrey, BC and great grandson Jameson of Edmonton and many cousins, nieces and nephews and one dear second cousin in Germany, Baerbel Natzke (Hubert). He was predeceased by his parent’s Lloyd Sr. and Hertha of Red Deer.
Lloyd loved water and freshwater fishing. He became an excellent fly tier of both dry fly and wet fly patterns and big flies for big fish. He was a philosophical thinker and loved playing chess. He enjoyed good parties, food and talking to people from all walks of life. He was a good and thoughtful man and will be missed by many.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to local food banks in this time of need or to a charity of your choice.
Because of Covid restrictions a Service will be held at a later date when people can travel and gather together again.
