Obituary
Burry, Lisa Diane (nee Earles) R.N. – Passed peacefully away on Saturday, June 13, 2020 in the presence of her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer in her 49th year. Predeceased by her father Clarence Earles (2004); grandparents: Gladys and Joseph Earles and Maxwell and Angela Smith; parents -in-law: Wilson (1998) and Joan (2013) Burry; aunt: Doris Earles and aunt Margaret and uncle Bob Osmond. Leaving to mourn her loving and devoted husband Don Burry; her treasured children: Larissa and Morgan; mother Sarah Earles; brother: John (Vicki);sister: Sherri (Donald) Bailey; niece Emily; nephew: Alexander; aunts and uncles: Margie and Harvey Spurrell, Clyde and Millie Earles and Philip Smith; sisters-in-law: Janet Burry (Ron McLean), Valerie (Brendan) Hanrahan and Gloria Burry (Ken Meadus); brother-in-law: Randy (Bev), special cousins and many dear friends.
Lisa always knew as a young girl her dream was to be a nurse, on “Occupation Day” at school she proudly went off wearing her aunt Margie’s nursing uniform. Lisa followed her dream and proudly graduated from St. Clare’s School of Nursing in 1992. Lisa had a rewarding career for 25 years caring for babies at the Janeway NIC.
Due to the current COVID – 19 restrictions cremation has taken place. Visitation and funeral service will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made is Lisa’s memory to the Janeway Children’s Hospital NIC Unit. To send a message of condolence please visit www.barretts.ca
