Shibzii – “Shib”
Lionel Joseph Henry Assinewai (Webkamigad)

In loving memory of “Shib” who started his journey peacefully in his home at the age of 66.
Shib was a hardworking man with a sense of humour. He was a one arm bandit and he didn’t let that get in the way of harvesting medicines, berries, firewood for his loyal customers, gardening, hunting, cooking, working horses, providing horse drawn sleigh rides and projects around his home. He was a avid Bingo player and was always willing to give a helping hand and went to church every Sunday with his cousin Regina Webkamigad. He is now reunited with his beloved pets “Jack” and “Jake” where they will cross the Rainbow Bridge together.
Beloved son of his mother Georgina (LaLa) (nee Kimewon) predeceased and Henry & Agnes Webkamigad both predeceased.
He is survived by Lionel Jr.Assinewai and Lanell Mejaki-Neganigwane (Jonas). Siblings Dwight Recollet (Harriet), Chris Pheasant (predeceased) (Joanna ), Caroline Webkamigad, Marc Pheasant (Monica), Jerrold Webkamigad (Peggy)
Nieces and Nephews, Rachel Webkamigad-Hare (Sundance), Jordan Peltier, Keegan Peltier (Grace), Jasmine Peltier, Launie Pheasant (Courtney), Preston Webkamigad, Brenden Pheasant. Great nephews Dakota Hare (Kooter), Noah Hare and Hudson Hare.
Special godchild April Peltier and his favorite bingo partner and auntie Josephine Pelletier. Special friend Leonard Naokwegijig and Special Cousin Wanda Kimewon.
He will also be greatly missed by his many cousins, friends and bingo family.
At Shib’s request he will be cremated.
