Lindley’s Obituary
HOLDEN, Lindley Mildon – age 86, Villa St-Joseph du Lac, Dayton, formerly of Plymouth, Yarmouth Co., passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020 in the Villa. Born February 5, 1934 in Shelburne, Lindley was a son to Lindley and Bessie (Goodwin) Holden. He worked as a lobster fisherman as well as aboard herring seiners after which he worked for LaFarge Canada Inc. (formerly Yarmouth Concrete and Gravel). He is survived by a daughter, Rose (Edward “Bill”) Thibeau, Bridgewater, as well as by granddaughters, Kerry (Michael) Sutherland and Carmen Earle and a great granddaughter, Grace Anne. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Estelle M. (Boudreau) Holden. Cremation has taken place and interment will take place in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Wedgeport. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Gilles Boudreau and Friends Cancer Help Fund. Arrangements have been entrusted to H.M.
