Obituary of Linda Ruby Day
Linda Day, age 73 of Dartmouth, passed away on February 26, 2020 in her home. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Helen (Publicover) Schwartz.
Linda loved sailing, dolphins and warm sunny places. She was always everyone’s “other mom”.
Linda was married 51 years and survived by her husband Bill as well as daughters Traci (Darren), Dartmouth and Sandy (Brian), Musquodoboit Harbour; sisters Donna (John), Elderbank; Anne (Ryerson), Mahone Bay; Connie (Bruce) Halifax; brothers Jack, Sackville; Larry (Patrica), Sackville; Rob (June), Beechville; grandchildren Jessica (Ben), Bruce, Tyler and Christopher.
Besides her parents, Linda was predeceased by her sister Dianne, infant children Michael and Krista.
No Funeral at her request, Celebration of Life at later date. Memorial donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation or The Lung Association. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
