Obituary of Linda Ann Keating
KEATING, Linda Ann: Age 71, Halifax, sadly passed away on May 21, 2020 at Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Mary (Deveaux) Harding.
Linda loved life to the fullest and always had a contagious smile and many laughs. She would often say “Laughter is the best medicine” and to laugh every day. She would remind those who loved her dearly that she was a “Boxing Day Baby”. Mom was everyone’s best friend, and a 2nd mom to many. She was especially fond of the young fellas, they were her boyfriends. Her most precious was her grandson, Brad and her late grandson, Kyle.
Linda (Momma Bear) is survived by daughters, Christine Henneberry and Darlene Langevine (Peter); sister, Louise Butcher; brothers, David, Donnie, Ronnie and Roger; grandson, Brad (Hannah); and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers, Kenny, George and Gary; sister, Nancy; grandson, Kyle and son-in-law, Eric Caines.
The family would like to express gratitude to those who provided Linda with great care during her illness, VON Halifax, Closing the Gap, 7.4 Palliative Care, QEII. Earth Angels, Rhonda Gray, Wanda, Gail and Allison. Cremation is under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. Due to Covid 19 restrictions there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association or the Salvation Army.
