Linda Short
Linda Short, 65, of Indian
Mountain, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday,
October 1, 2020.
Born in Moncton, she was the
daughter of the late Clifford and Florence (Meunier)
Jones.
Linda was self employed in the
trucking industry and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and
sister.
In addition to her stepmother,
Bertha Jones, Linda will be sadly missed by her husband, Norman Short;
daughter, Constance Philippe (Maurice) and sons, Daniel (Tina),
Christopher and James; several grandchildren; sisters, Betty (Donat),
Brenda and Pansy; brothers, Clifford Jr. (Elizabeth), James
(Geraldine), Larry (Stacey) and Jack; as well as several nieces and
nephews.
In addition to her parents,
she was predeceased by sister, Carolyn and brother,
Lionel.
Visitation at Fergusons
Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Monday from
6:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate and honour Linda’s
life will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday,
October 6, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Social Distancing restrictions must be
observed and the wearing of a mask is strongly encouraged by the
family while in the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Fair Haven
Memorial Gardens.
