Obituary
COX, Linda Joan (nee Yetman) – Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Friday, May 8, 2020, Linda Cox, of Manuels, CBS, age 72 years. Leaving with beautiful memories and broken hearts, her loving husband of 49 years, Bill; daughters: Suzette (Tom) Grandy, and Jo-ann (Steve Gullage); all of Nanny’s Treasures – granddaughters: Kaitlyn and Karlee, and grandson, Travis; sisters: Renee (Jim Hannam) of Hamilton, ON, and Carol (Len McDonald); brother, Randy (Valerie) Yetman; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Linda was heavily involved in several organizations including the Society of United Fishermen where she was Past President of the Ladies Council No. 41 Topsail, Vice President of the Superior Ladies Council, Chaplin of the Superior Ladies Council, Past Secretary of Cabot Lodge No.41 Topsail, and served on various fundraising committees – she did so much for her community and her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Due to the current global pandemic of COVID-19 visitation and funeral service will be announced at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in Linda’s memory to The Children’s Wish Foundation or a charity of one’s choice. In lieu of visitation at this time, the family and staff of Barrett’s Funeral Home encourage people to post their condolences, share photos, and tributes by visiting the online memorial guestbook at www.barretts.ca.
