Mrs. Linda Jean Boyd passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Red Deer Hospice on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at the age of 63 years. Linda will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Wayne; her son, Jared (Karmen) Boyd of Red Deer; her daughter, Courtney (Dean) Jacobs and her grandchildren, Olivia and Austin Jacobs, all of Clive, Alberta. She will also be sadly missed by her mother, Ruth Leitheiser and her brother, Jim (Michelle) Leitheiser, all of Wainwright, Alberta and her sister, Laura (Tom) Wynnyk of Beaumont, Alberta; as well as numerous family members and many dear friends. Linda was predeceased by her father, Edward Leitheiser. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 6 McMillan Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Linda’s honor may be made directly to the Red Deer Hospice Society at www.reddeerhospice.com.
