Lilianne Cormier

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother,
Lilianne Cormier, 88, of Saint-Antoine and formerly of Saint-Paul at
the Dr Georges-L-Dumont UHC, on Saturday June 13, 2020. She was
married to the late Ernest Cormier (2015). Born in Saint-Paul, she was
the daughter of the late Albénie and the late Rosée
(Cormier) Cormier.
Lilianne was a primary school teacher for the School District 11 for
over 30 years. She was a devoted and passionate woman. For many years
she was involved on many church and parish committees. Besides her
loving family which had a special place in her heart, she loved
quilting, taking care of her flowers and birds.
She will be sadly missed by her children; Jacqueline Turnbull (Pierre)
of Sus, Nicole Cormier Belliveau (Jean) of Bouctouche, Roland of
Moncton, Bernard (Lyne) of Notre-Dame, Marcel (Nicole) of Dieppe, her
grandchildren; Eric, Amélie, Luc, Monica, Jérémie,
Jolène and her great grandchildren; Hugo, Dawson, Nicky and
Elliott. She also leaves to mourn her brothers; Léo of Toms
River, NJ, Albéo (Betty) of Moncton, Armand (Eva) of Dieppe and
several nieces and nephews.
Lilianne was predeceased by one son, Jean-Marc in infancy, two
sisters; Doraine and Corinne and five brothers; Hervé, Ted, Aris,
Stanley and Donald.
A private funeral service will be held at the Saint-Paul Roman
Catholic Church in accordance with the public health directives.
