TURCOTT (née Gravel), Liliane – In loving memory of Liliane Turcott who passed away at Health Sciences North on Saturday, May 30, 2020. Lil is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Lloyd; her loving daughters Wendy (Steve) Kenney of Kirkland Lake and Tracy (Chris) Pruit of Englehart; her cherished mother Rachel Gravel of Haileybury; her brothers Ronald (Yvette) Gravel, Normand (Natalie) Gravel and her sister Monique (Robert) Richie all of Haileybury. Liliane is also survived by her brothers-in-law Earl (Late Mary) Turcott of Little Britain, Brian (Cindy) Turcott of King Kirkland and her sister-in-law Dorothy (Late Bruce) Turcott of Kirkland Lake. She will be forever remembered and dearly missed by her grandchildren Rockwell (Christine), Ryan, Meghan and her great grandchildren Ellie and Noah as well as many nieces and nephews. Lil’s journey with Lloyd started in 1966 when she came to Kirkland Lake to work as a hairdresser. Lloyd and Liliane married in 1967 and shortly after, in 1968, their first daughter Wendy was born, then came Tracy in 1970. Together they had a full life, from re-building old cars, travelling the world in a sports car and later a camper trailer, to building an addition to the house (1980) and building a cottage (1994). In 1984, they took a leap and bought a business with other partners and sold it in 2001. Everything they did, they accomplished together. “Rest easy my love – we did it all!”
Cremation has taken place. Private family gathering will be held at a later date.
One day, you are going to hug
Your last hug, kiss your last kiss
And hear someones voice for
The last time, but you never
Know when the last time will be,
So live every day as if it were the
Last time you will be with the
Person you love
(Gary Hardy)
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Liliane Turcott nee Gravel 2020..
