Ligaya (Joy) Maria Pearson, 79, passed away on December 27th, 2020, with her daughter by her side.
Joy is survived by her husband Joe, three children: Andrew, Christopher and Sandra, three grandchildren, her Mother and seven siblings.
She immigrated from the Philippines to Canada at the age of 24 as a newly graduated nurse. Meeting her husband of 52 years in Nelson, BC, she truly was the joy of his life. Joy spent most of her life in the Kootenays, where she was a devoted mother, wife, and d…
