Obituary
Leslie “Bud” Charles Forrest passed away peacefully on April 24, 2020 at the Elrose Health Centre at the age of 98 years.
Bud was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin on November 18, 1921. He was raised by Glamis, SK and attended Rhonda School. Bud was a veteran of WW2 where he served from 1941-1945. He married Marg McCool in 1948. Bud did a number of jobs before starting with National Grain where he worked with the Grain Company in Zealandia for over 30 years.
Bud enjoyed wood working, fishing and hunting. He was also a member of the Zealandia Elks and the Royal Canadian Legion.
Bud is survived by his children Doug (Nonie), Andy (Patti) and Bradley (Janet); son-in-law Donny; grandchildren Cheri, Nikki, Kristi, Curtis, Kim and Kyle and 13 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Marg, daughter Leslie and sister Dorothy (Bert).
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 104-2301 Ave C N, Saskatoon, SK, S7L 5X5.
