RICHIBUCTO, NB – Leonie (Hébert) Daigle
86, of Richibucto passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria in
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Saturday, May 23, 2020. Born in
Claire-Fontaine, she was the daughter of the late Arthur
Hébert and late Susan (Mazerolle)
Hébert. Before retiring, Leonie was a cook at the
Habitant Restaurant for over 30 years. She was a member of
the St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church and the Ladies
Auxiliary.
Leonie will be sadly missed by her Gonzague will be sadly
missed by her two daughters, Julia Hebert (John) of Shediac,
Arthémise Chevarie of Moncton; four sons, Ernest Daigle
(Cathy) of Aldouane, Ulysee Daigle (Stella) of Aldouane,
André Daigle (Sharon) of Richibucto, Gilbert Daigle
(Valdine) of Richibouctou-Village; twelve grandchildren and thirteen
great grandchildren.
She is also survived by two sisters, Sarah Hébert
(Alfred) and Gloria Sock both of Elsipogtog; two brothers,
André Hébert and Gerard Hébert
(Gisele) both of St. Charles and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 65
years, Gonzague Daigle.
There will be no visitation or funeral mass.
Interment will be held at the St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic
Cemetery in Claire-Fontaine at a later date.
Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto (523-4252).
