June 11, 1956 – March 10, 2020
Len passed away at Invermere & District Hospital, on March 10, 2020 after a long battle with COPD.
Len was born in Red Deer, AB and attended school in Valleyview, AB. In the later 1990’s, Len settled in Invermere to raise his children. He worked for numerous years in the trucking industry, as well as oilfield consulting.
Len is survived by his wife ; Shelley, and children; Annette Lazette, Melissa (Tim) Earl, and Jason Lazette, stepchildren; Brittney Thompson (Merle), Evan Thompson (Janine), and Chris Thompson (Kaity), grandchildren; Kyle, Brodie, Genevieve, Kaleb, Samantha, Mia, Scarlett, Maverick, Briar, and great grandson; Hunter. His mother; Betty Lazette-Bergen, brother; Mike Lazette, sisters; Linda Hummel (Scott), Brenda Fenwick (Tom), and Sue Christensen (Kim), as well as numerous step siblings, nieces, and nephews.
Len is predeceased by his father; Gervais (Bob) Lazette, stepfather; Lawrence Bergen, and mother-in-law; Wendy Valentine.
There will be a Celebration of Life announced at a later date.
