Passed peacefully away on Friday December 3rd, 2020 in the presence of his loving family at St. Luke’s Homes, Leonard Vincent Greeley, aged 88 years. Predeceased by his loving and devoted wife Annie, parents Archibald and Susie (Churchill), brothers William (Bill) Greeley and Lesley (Tide) Greeley, precious grandson Dennis Mitchell.
Leaving to mourn four sons: Arch (Judy), Herb (Paula), Lester (Gertrude) and Frank (Barb); daughter Dolores Mitchell (Randy); 9 grandchildren; 9 greatgrandchildren; sister Ida May Pearce (Mack deceased) of Nova Scotia; brother Victor Greeley (Loretta); sister in law, Mary Greeley; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Special thank you to the staff of St. Luke’s Homes and to Dr. Colin Penney for the care and support shown to our “Dad” during his stay there.
Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from 2 – 9 p.m. Saturday, December 5th and from 10 a.m. – 12 noon Sunday, December 6th. Funeral service will be held on Sunday December 6th, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from Memorial United Church, Portugal Cove/St. Philips, if you wish to attend please contact Arch at arch.judy@hotmail.com. Interment to follow at Memorial United Cemetery, Bauline Line Ext.
