Obituary for Leonard Johnson
Died suddenly in Ohio on Wednesday, July 1, 2020. LEONARD ROBERT JOHNSON, of Sarnia, was in his 65th year. Leonard was predeceased by his parents Harold (2005) and Ileen (2016)(nee Atkinson) Johnson and his brother Larry (2015). Leonard is survived by his son Leonard and Matthew Johnson-Gardiner, his daughter Jennifer Dekant and Emily Pettit, his brother Brian and Cathy Johnson, his sister Linda and the late David Podolinsky, and his niece and nephews. Leonard was a trucker for most of his life, he was most recently, proud to be part of the Grace Transport family. A private service will be held with interment in Wyoming Cemetery. When COVID-19 restrictions are lifted a celebration of Leonard’s life will be held. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation (www.heartandstroke.ca).
