Obituary
With saddened hearts we announce the passing Leo Doucet on December 16th, 2020 at the Foyer Richelieu Welland at the age of 87.
He will be sadly remembered by his loving wife Sara (Plourde). Beloved father of Mary Holt, Larry (Jeanne), Sue Cox (Drew), Mike (Teresa), loving stepfather to Serge Carrier, Marlene & Bob Boutin, Lynda & Ron Pellerin. He will be sadly missed by his 9 grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Normand (Reinette)
Leo was predeceased by his wife Eileen Pearson and his son Mark, his parents Daniel and Marie Marthe as well as several sisters and brothers.
Leo was a member of Club Champlain, Chevalier de Colomb, ten pin youth bowling association, Welland minor hockey association as a coach and referee and was the founder of the Women’s Hockey League of Welland.
A funeral service and interment will be held in honor of Leo’s wonderful life that he lived. Welland Funeral Home 827 East Main Street was in charge of the arrangements.
