STEPHENSON, Leo Joseph – Dartmouth
It is with deepest sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our father on August 22, 2020 at the age of 82 years. Dad was born in New Waterford on February 16, 1938, the only child of Thomas Blaze and Margaret Stephenson. Dad was predeceased by the love of his life Margaret “Peggy” nee MacNeil. Together they raised four children that they were so proud of Leona, Bernadette, Tommy (Tammy) and Philip (Michelle). He will be missed by his grandchildren, Paula, Amanda, Natasha, PJ (Philip Jr.), Amy, Jessica and the youngest Nicholas and Chasity “deceased”. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren. Dad was a lifelong member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 161, he loved a good game of darts or cards. He also cherished his time at the camp in Springhill with his friends Buddy and Leo. A “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date in Gaetz Brook at the Legion. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Brain Injury Association of Nova Scotia. online condolences by visiting www.dartmouthfuneralhome.ca
