PETTIPAS, Leo Edwin Age 74, of
Lundy, Guysborough Co., passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020 in St.
Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Lundy, he
was a son of the late John Angus and Garnet Marie (Avery) Pettipas.
Leo worked for many years for Nova Scotia Department of Lands and
Forest. He loved nature, fishing, picking berries and spending time
with his animals. He is survived by his wife, Diane (Cameron); son,
Leo (Caitlin); daughters, Connie (Paul)Prevost, Rachel (Jason Hill);
grandchildren, Leo, Karl, Danielle, Jacob, Hannah, Sierra, Luke;
brothers, John (Wendy), Wilson; sister, Doris Pettipas; mother-in law,
Mildred Cameron; one aunt, Mildred Sanford; many nieces, nephews and
their families; special friends, Audie & Robert Gerrior. He
was predeceased by one sister, Velma in infancy. No flowers by
request. Memorial donations may be made to Nova Scotia Heart and
Stroke Foundation. A graveside service will be held Saturday,
September 12th at 2 p.m. in St.
Peter’s Parish Cemetery, Larry’s River with Rev.
Callistus Abazie officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the
dignified and compassionate care of G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, 17545
