Peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Maxville Manor on Thursday, November 19, 2020. Leo Cassibo of Maxville; age 78 years. Beloved husband of Cecilia Cassibo (nee Prevost). Loving father of Dennis (Laurie), Michelle Cassibo (Michel) and Charles. Cherished grandfather of William. Predeceased by his parents: Charles and Myrtle Cassibo (nee Meyers) and siblings: Vince (Murial), Patricia (late Malvin), Verla, Marietta, Marcelina (late George) and Norma. Dearly loved brother of Laverne (Jean) and Janis (Leon). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and Prevost in-laws. Leo spent his 35-year career with General Motors. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898). Masks and physical distancing are required at all gatherings. A Mass of Christian burial which will be celebrated at St. James Catholic Church, 14 Catherine Street East, Maxville, on Wednesday November 25, 2020 at 11 am. For those who wish to attend the controlled attendance Mass, must call the Funeral Home, Mon. to Fri. between 9 am & 5 pm, to register your attendance. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Maxville Manor Foundation would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Leo a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.
