Obituary of Lawrence Morgan
MORGAN, Lawrence (Larry)
Proud member of I.B.E.W.
Peacefully at Providence Care Hospital surrounded by the love of his family, on Friday, January 3, 2020. Larry Morgan, in his 89th year, beloved husband of 56 years to June (nee Harvey) of Kingston. Loving father of Stephen (Sina), Victoria (Bryan), Peter and Catherine. Affectionately known as “Grandpa” to Dustin (Parish) and Tanner (Cierra). Predeceased by granddaughters Sara and Carly and brothers James, Bill, Al (Diana) and Gub (late Doreen). Also remembered by June’s brother Frank Harvey (Betty), numerous nieces, nephews and their families, as well as his spiritual family at St. Paul’s Anglican Church. The family extends sincere gratitude to all of Larry’s caregivers at Providence Care Hospital, especially Parkside 1, for the kindness and compassion shown to Larry and his family. Cremation in the care of James Reid Crematorium. A memorial service in celebration of Larry’s life will be held at ST. PAUL’S ANGLICAN CHURCH (corner of Queen and Montreal Streets) on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11:00 am. A reception will follow in the church hall. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to St. Paul’s Anglican Church or, U.H.K.F. (Providence Care Hospital) in Larry’s memory.
