Obituary of Laura Mae Clements
The death of Laura Clements of Saint John, cherished wife of the late Eldon Clements, occurred on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Rocmaura Nursing Home, a place she loved and considered her home. Born on June 28, 1935 in Sus, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Jenny (Prosser) Richardson.
Laura always held a special place in her heart for those she loved and dedicated her life to caring for the needs of her family and community. She especially enjoyed the visits with her daughter-in-law, Amy, who loved accessorizing as much as she did. Her kindness and gentle ways will never be forgotten.
Laura will be lovingly remembered by her son, Gordon Redfurn (special daughter-in-law, Amy Redfurn); brother, John Richardson; sisters, Lena Spellman, Pauline Hughes and Minnie Redfurn; adored grandchildren, Josh and Olivia Redfurn; along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brothers, Joseph (in infancy), Everett and Lloyd; sisters, Mary Richardson and Lorraine Hughes; along with brothers and sisters-in-law.
Laura’s family would like to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the entire staff of Rocmuara Nursing Home for the exceptional care and kindness that was always provided to her.
