Laura Jane Bourgeois
1952-2020
It is with great sadness that we
announce the sudden passing of Laura Jane
Bourgeois, 68, of Point de Bute, NB and formerly of
Alberta at the Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.
Laura was born in Alberta, a daughter of the late Howard
and Glenna (Whitman) Cartwright.
Laura was an avid reader. She enjoyed
nature, in particular flowers, birds and spending time with her
fur-baby.
Laura will be sadly missed by her son,
Paul (Marley) Bourgeois, Malden, NB; three grandchildren, Logan,
Lyndsey, and Mia; two step
grandchildren, Brandon and Danika; her sisters, Cora and Dawn; her
brothers, Dale and Danny; her long time friend, Ray (Lisa) Trenholm; a
special nephew, Tim (Dara Lynn) Munroe as well as several nieces,
nephews, great nieces and nephews and her fur-baby,
Chico.
Besides her parents, Laura was
predeceased by a sister, Myda and a brother, Darrel.
Arrangements are under the care and
guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge
Street, Sackville (506-364-1300). Honouring Laura’s wishes,
cremation has taken place. A service will be held at a
later date to be announced in the spring.
Donations in memory of Laura may be made
to a charity of the donor’s choice.
