Obituary of Kmarie MacDougall
K. Marie MacDougall age 80, of Antigonish, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2020.
Born in Antigonish, she was the daughter of the late Art and Kaye Dunphy, Antigonish.
She is predeceased by her husband Gregory MacDougall, and is survived by her three sons Brent (Liz Yeo) Antigonish, Glenn (Jennifer Watt) Halifax, and Troy (Lana Dinn) Calgary. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Hannah, Claire, Emma Cameron, Lauren, Noah and TJ.
Kmarie enjoyed her summers at Malignant Cove and was an avid St.FX sports fan.
Kmarie loved to visit auctions and craft shows and her home was beautifully decorated with her treasured finds. She always chose the perfect gift, loved the pets and enjoyed preparing home cooked meals for her family and special treats when the grandkids visited.
Special thanks to the St. Martha’s palliative care unit and the third floor stroke unit nurses and staff. Also thanks to Dr. Gibson and Dr. Jane Ann Howard for their care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place and a private gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
