Kevin Keith Claridge Monday May 11th 2020

CLARIDGE, Kevin Keith, age 57 of Yarmouth and formerly of Dartmouth, passed away peacefully in Yarmouth Regional Hospital on May 11, 2020, with his twin brother by his side. Born in Harrietsfield, N.S., on May 26, 1962, he was a son of the late Thomas and Elva (Robar), Claridge. Kevin was known to be a practical jokester and fun-loving person with a great sense of humour. He was a jack of all trades and had a passion for the arts, especially painting. In his spare time, he loved to fish, camp, and spend time with friends and family. He is survived by his twin brother, Kent Claridge, Dartmouth; brothers, Thomas Claridge, Lunenburg; Chris (Donna) Claridge, Halifax; David Robar, Alberta; Douglas Claridge, Iqaluit, NU; sisters, Betty Claridge, Halifax; Valerie Nauss, Bridgewater; nephews, Ian and Arnold Claridge; nieces, Christa Nauss, Sara Claridge, and Little T; as well as many other nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Elva Robar; and brother, Lonnie Robar. Cremation has taken place under the care of Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date in Dartmouth. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff on 4 North as well as Dr. Gillies and the palliative care team.
