Kenneth “Ken” A. Boutilier
1942-2020
Kenneth “Ken” A. Boutilier,
77, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, January
26, 2020. Born in Mushaboom, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late
Robert and Esther Boutilier.
In his early years, Ken worked for the
Canadian Coast Guard, the former Willett Foods, he then went on to
spend a career with Co-op Atlantic for many years until retirement,
even in retirement Ken worked for Walmart, The Bowlarama, and
Fairlanes Bowling Centre. Ken enjoyed playing darts, bowling, his
guitar, and watching his Toronto Blue Jay’s and Montreal
Canadiens play.
Ken will be sadly missed by his loving
wife, Carolyn Boutilier; son, Robert Boutilier (Michelle);
step-daughters, Darlene Sadler (Shawn), Shelley Smith and Angela
Sadler (Paul); grandchildren, Blake, Harleigh, Sidney, Jessica, Sara,
Ian, Liam, Jennifer and Kourtney; great grandchildren, Kyra, Gabrielle
and Grayson; sisters, Shirley, Julie and Lola (Pat); brother, Vernon
(Shirley); brother-in-law, Lou; as well as several nieces, nephews,
and extended family members.
In addition to his parents, Ken was
predeceased by his sisters, Elva and Agnes.
A Celebration of Life and a Sharing of
Memories for Ken will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Reception
Centre, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Saturday, February
1, 2020 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
In memory of Ken, donations to the
charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated. Online
