Weir, Kenneth Charles – age 63 of Valley, Colchester Co., passed away February 5, 2020 at home. Born in Antigonish, he was the son of the late Kenneth A. Weir and Mary M. (DeCoste) Culleton. Ken had numerous occupations throughout his working career, retiring as a satellite dish installer. He was an avid vintage car enthusiast, entrepreneur and inventor, loved animals especially his current cat, Ainsley, and was known to be a great story teller. He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany (Mike) Rudolph; step-sons, Travis Jodrey and Shane Jodrey; grandchildren, Rebecca, Jasenta, Jonathan and Blaine; brothers, Bob (Trish) Weir; Darrell Hulbert; Gregg (Brenda Draney) Weir; Steven (Trish) Weir; Kevin Culleton; sister, Tracy Culleton. He was predeceased by his wife, Judy (Langille); brother, Clayton DeCoste. Visitation will be held from noon until time of funeral at 2 p.m. Friday, February 14th in Coulter’s Funeral Home, Tatamagouche, Rev. Connie McNamara officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Langille Gift Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Colchester SPCA would be appreciated.
