Obituary of Ken Adams
Ken passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer, at Lee Manor in Owen Sound, on December 17, 2020. Born in Owen Sound on October 5, 1951, Kenneth Douglas Curwood Adams, was in his 70th year.
Survived by his sisters, Wanda Morneau (John) of Leith and Sandra Adams of London. Ken will be sadly missed by many golf, pool and dart playing members of Scenic City Golf, the Owen Sound 8 Ball League and the Owen Sound Royal Canadian Legion, as well as Canadian Armed Forces members who worked and served with Ken at CFB Borden and 4th Canadian Division Training Centre (formerly LFTC) Meaford.
Predeceased by his parents Kerwood and Beatrice (née Harvie) Adams.
Visitation will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of his funeral service to celebrate his life at 2:00 p.m. Due to COVID19 restrictions all attendees must wear a mask, follow social distancing protocols and RSVP through the funeral home website or by calling the funeral home. Friends are welcome to view the service via livestream by selecting the ‘LIVE STREAMING’ menu option at the top right corner of the funeral home website (woodfuneralhome.ca). Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound.
