Obituary for Ken Riley
Kenneth Marvin Riley, a member of Walpole Island First Nation, passed away peacefully in Wallaceburg on Friday, May 8, 2020 at the age of 68. Ken is the son of the late Patterson Sword and Violet (Riley) Shipman. Predeceased by his beloved wife Joyce Mae (Blackbird) in 2006. Dear father of Charmaine Shipman, Marvin Riley, Amanda Shipman, Misty Blackbird, Candace Shipman, Brandi Riley, Candy Greenbird, Kenneth Riley Jr., Matthew Riley, Patricia Blackbird, Martel Riley and the late Kendra Blackbird. Brother of Elizabeth Shipman, Helen Smith, Torrey Jacobs, Brenda Shipman Williams, Patricia Sword, Stewart Shipman, Vaughn Shipman, Randy Shipman, Brian Shipman and the late Patrick Shipman. Ken was a heavy equipment operator for Bkejwanong Roads Department. A private family visiting and funeral will be held with burial in Highbanks Cemetery. A proper celebration of Ken’s life will be announced at a later date. The HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg entrusted with arrangements.
