Obituary
Kelsey M. Pyke
Georges River
With broken hearts and deep sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Kelsey Marie Pyke, age 26, on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, surrounded by love, after a short but courageous battle with cancer.
Born in North Sydney on February 27, 1994, she was the daughter of the late Julie Ann Pyke and raised by her grandfather Ernest Tremblett. Kelsey graduated from Memorial High School in 2013 and Canadian National Institute of Health in 2019 as a Dental Hygienist. She only worked for a few short weeks when she became ill.
Kelsey adored her Poppy and loved nothing more than to pack up the truck and go with him to one of their favourite fishing spots. She loved the ocean and actually went for a swim on Sunday with her friends. She loved her “girls” and her big brown eyes and infectious smile won the hearts of all who met her.
She is survived by her grandfather “AKA Poppy” Ernest Tremblett (Francis), grandmother Joan (Pyke) Bond (Ernie), a brother Samuel, her uncle James (Tanya) Tremblett, her aunt Monica (David) Grandy, great-grandmother Clara Pyke, aunts Brenda Foster (Tommy), Kim Forrest (Alex), Tracey Groves (Jody), uncle Leroy Pyke (Nancy), her special aunt Colleen (Peter) Harrietha, her cousins who were like siblings to her, Ashley, Kristen, Jaymee, Tyler, Brendan, Laura, David, Sandy, Natasha, Mason, Logan, Kody, Kenneth and Kyle.
