Kay (Kathleen) McCardle
The death occurred at South Shore Villa, Crapaud with family
by her side on Monday, December 14, 2020 of Kay (Kathleen) McCardle
(nee McAleer) formally of Middleton/Kinkora in her 86th year. Kay was
the daughter of the late Wilfred and Eileen McAleer (Reid). She is
survived by the following sons and daughter: Michael, Summerside;
Cathy (Wayne) Mallett, Fredericton, NB; Gerard (Linda), Summerside;
Christopher (Lisa), Kinkora; Timothy (Kim), Summerside and
daughter-in-law, Joyce McCardle, St. Albert. Survived by 15
grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters Shirley
(Leo) McCarthy, Colleen Larkin, Darlene (David) MacKinnon and John
(Camilla) McAleer. Brother and sisters-in-law; Elizabeth (Ken)
Stewart, Margaret (Gary) Hedges, Virginia McCarvill, Joe (Connie)
McCardle, Patricia McCardle, St. Clair McCardle, Bea (Rick) Hartinger;
Helen McAleer; Joyce McCardle; Marion McCardle; Myrtle McCardle
(Garth), as well as Carol MacDonald and many nieces, nephews, cousins,
relatives and friends. Predeceased by husband Edward, son Allison,
parents Wilfred and Eileen McAleer, mother and father-in-law Albert
and Norma McCardle, brother Allison; brothers-in-law Ralph MacFarlane,
Stephen Walsh, Melvin Larkin and Wilfred, Johnnie, Kevin and Timothy
McCardle and sister-in-law, Suzanne McCardle. Resting at Lawless
Funeral Home, Kinkora. Due to Covid 19 restrictions there will be
family visitation only at the funeral home prior to the funeral Mass.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Malachy’s Church,
Kinkora on Monday, December 28 at 11:30 a.m by invitation only.
Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. Donations in
Kay’s memory may be made to St. Malachy’s Cemetery
Fund.
