Obituary
We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of our mother, Kathleen Mary Clement (nee Wilson) on September 5, 2020.
Mom was born and raised in Vancouver, BC and after graduation spent summer months on Bowen Island where she met and married Denis Clement (died 2004). They moved to Princeton, BC in 1964 with their young family where they owned and operated the Princeton 5 to $1.00 Store.
In 1978 Mom started working as an insurance agent and continued until her retirement in 1996. Always on the move, she decided to enter into municipal politics where she served three terms with the Town of Princeton as a Councilwoman. She was very involved with the Town of Princeton and served as a long-time board member on the Museum and Family Services Societies until her death.
Mom touched many people in her lifetime, and through her extensive travels across the globe she met many lasting friends. For the past 7 years Guayabitos, Mexico is where she wintered. She truly loved the friends she met there.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Dayna (Ken), son, Stephen (Jackie), daughter, Terry (Brian); grandchildren, Zach (Darren), Keaton, Corbin (Erin), Sydney, Nolan and Nathan; and her many, many dear friends.
As requested there will be no service and her ashes are to be scattered at Bowen Island.
Love you mommie…
