1942-2020
Kathleen Marie “Kay”
Jordan-Wile – 77, of Kentville, passed away on Tuesday,
August 25, 2020 in the Wolfville Nursing Home. Born in Windsor, she
was a daughter of the late Harry and Marie (Patterson) Lynch. Kay had
been employed with MT&T in various capacities and later worked
at the Blanchard Fraser Memorial Hospital and the Valley Regional
Hospital. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Kings Branch
No. 6, Kentville, serving many offices on the executive and colour
party and recently received her 50-year pin. Kay volunteered with
blood donor clinics, at Fidelis House and especially loved to dance,
play darts and pool. She is survived by her husband. Bernard
“BJ” Wile; daughters, Shelley Potter (John
Karapita), Toronto; Heather (Christopher) Thomson, Kentville; Terri
(Clark) Deveau, St. George, NB;
grandchildren, Sophia and Josh Karapita, Toronto;
Jonathan and Alexander Thomson, Kentville; Shane Nickerson and Noah
Deveau, Yarmouth; a brother, Allan Lynch, New Minas; a step-daughter,
Marion Jordan, Ottawa; step-sons, Bernard (Fay) Wile, Sackville, NS;
Shawn Wile (Martina), Dartmouth; Derek Wile (Sabrina), Harrietsfield ;
aunt, Gladys Wilson, Fredericton. In addition to her parents, she was
predeceased by her husband, Al Jordan. Cremation has taken place and
there will be no visitation or funeral service by request. A
celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Donations in
memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements
have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation
Services, Kentville.
